From experience, I'll suggest Symbicort as a very positive treatment of asthma disease. Refer to your doctor of course. I used to take Seretide/Ventolin and had a ventilator! Changing to Symbicort changed my life in my 40s. Management far better but still have a backup Ventolin inhaler!
Scaring the children is obviously an issue but good parenting with positive loving reassurance helps soothe young minds. However NOT always listening to the authoritarian gods can too! Shut off the Social media even the news for a time! Get back to family games and fun with social distancing measures if needed. Teaching during this time will grow resilience for the youngsters. Life is valuable but to some not so!
