It may be a "Chinese Virus" and President Trump is right IMHO to seek World War II type recompense from the Beijing authorities or whoever is left in the P.R.C. for this outrage, the two month secrecy, etc once this is all over. Perhaps a military and full scale war by whatever means is inevitable IMHO.

President Xi may in time be seen as a Nazi/ Japanese Hirohito like figure that has clearly misled the world, practised genocide with respect to Uyghers, concentration centers in Xinjiang province, treated Hong Kong, Macau inhumanely and the South China Sea outrage, how is this not worthy of reparations like after World War II?

That does not in any sense remove New South Wales, Victorian, Australian and European Union politicians from their pathetic response to the crisis.

My late father once said "the only good politician is a dead one.". COVID 19 might have provided support for that opinion especially in NSW, Victoria, Australia and Europe IMHO.

IMHO Australians and Sydney residents are rightful to feel that NSW politicians have behaved obnoxiously during this crisis, taking salaries, refusing to stop cruise ship passengers disembarking and infecting the population, not testing cruise ship passengers, importing the virus from overseas without adequate checks and then blaming beach goers on Bondi by the ill-fated holidaying known David Elliott and the appropriately named NSW Health Minister, Brad Hazzard. He puts an extra Z in it, perhaps he has something of the Dan Quayle or the 1930s European politicians about him liking how to misspell and create national socialism with a Z.
