I think you fail to understand it is a war. Just the Australian Government has no nuclear deterrent or nuclear weapons to fight the war with so the best he can do is keep the enemy's Wuhan Virus out of the country.
President Trump will need to make the military strikes, air strikes and nuclear strikes. And will probably personally have to do so to secure re-election and retaliate against the perpetrators of the virus.
If there are air strikes and military action (including potentially conscription and nuclear strikes against Beijing, Shanghai and Wuhan) taken by President Trump's Administration, as a result of the Wuhan virus, reconstruction efforts will go up significantly and Australia could be a major if not the predominant beneficiary along with all the companies of the present ASX indexes IMHO.
I do not think President Trump will give Canada, New Zealand and Europe (ex England, Scotland and Wales) anything more beyond expecting them to pay their fair share of not being military prepared. Australia should do alright as the military defense spending is quite exorbitant if inefficient, and so reparations will not be sought after the end of the war from Australia and England IMHO.
