You would think big pharma would want scientific evidence before a major investment. It does seem strange at times, that they prefer the non-scientific approach like an informal trial at the Masters games.
But the masters games results of 70% are well above any placebo effect. From Doogs 20 sales, he can expect 14 positive results and 6 results that either didn't bother replying or are negative. That's an excellent ratio for pain relief even if it's not a clinical trial.
Obviously a TT story isn't going to solve the cash issue, it's too late now. But it could build some hype to sell into.
