You are right Tony..... the numbers are huge in this business and we mere mortals playing our shares could do well to dare I say it....."take stock of what we are a part of."
Love HC and the great quality of most contributors. We do need to understand also that this really is the big league......its destiny is in the big boys hands and when they move, they don't muck around and go for it once the decision has been made.
Reminds me of how lucky we are to take part via the stock market.
800 million USD = the approx. build cost of the OceanRig Athena that they are looking at for our drilling program .......was a part of the build in SHI in South Korea. Yep 1 drill rig....more than our market cap. Crazy when you think about it !!!!

Even thought the oil price is down.....there are a lot of new rigs built in the last 4 years that have not yet recovered their build cost so they looking to keep them occupied rather than hot/ cold stacking that's for sure.

Great days ahead for us all IMO
