The Australian newspaper actually stated the information was leaked to a 'short seller'. I haven't had the time to challenge The Australian journalist for making that statement. Was very specific - online and in the print version .....5 December 2o19.
The Australian newspaper journalist deserves to be challenged nonetheless.....
Regardless, the ASX are overdue in providing ISX and ISX shareholders with a reason for (1) suspending the trading of ISX shares on ASX's controlled trading platforms and on the Frankfurt Exchange and (2) the reason for ASX continuing a suspension of trading in ISX shares when the ASX has never given any plausible or justifiable or stated reason for suspending ISX shares on and since 2 October 2019.
The ASX cannot cite the reason/s for the ongoing suspension of ISX shares as being due to an impending Federal Court hearing. That would be a direct contravention of ASX's own stated charter and code of practice.
