We holders of ISX need to keep our message simple.

THE TOPIC ON THIS THREAD:

Most ISX holders have no issue with ISX being investigated - just not by the ASX:

1. The ASX should not be allowed to regulate/investigate a company with which it is in direct competition, and/or
2. If the ASX wants to be in an industry that is in direct competition with companies it is regulating, then it should not be a regulator.

Background:

1. The ASX is a competitor of ISX for the bank's AML/CFT business as well as for Delivery vs. Payment systems for corporate securities.
2. The ASX has been asking for competitive information from ISX while refusing to guarantee ISX that the information will remain confidential even while there have been reports of information being leaked within the ASX and external to the ASX.

Because:

1. How can we trust in any report or decision given by the ASX when it involves so much money to be gained or lost?
2. How can we maintain trust in our regulatory systems if this kind of conflict of interest is allowed to exist?

This is the message that we need to be repeating over, and over, and over and over.

Therefore, please REPORT any post in this thread, no matter how trivial, that does not stay within the topic. Please do it as soon as possible so that the tread does not wander off course.

And remember, nothing else really matters except ISX getting a fair and reasonable shot at explaining itself.
