theres a difference between reserves and resources.
reserves is what they know is there with a some certainty. this is what the financier will base their investment on.
resources is what they think is there but with less certainty. thats a gamble for them and with 120-150mil on the line they want certainty.
thats why their drilling to move more of the resources into reserves.
