"honest assessment"..... that is what HC should be about and one of HC great strengths.
Sure, some on HC post dishonestly playing to their own book of course. Many just post meaningless drivel, upramp/downramp to scare or inflate opinions for their own end, sniping etc. If your gonna play with your own money you have to learn to take on others view with an open mind and weigh it up in the mix to gain an edge. Seperate the rubbish from well reasoned analysis, be prepared to change your mind when the facts change and then act accordingly.
No one except maybe directors know what will happen to a company or it's stock price for sure... don't beat yourself up if it goes wrong and don't crow about things going right cause it all plays out with a good dolup of luck!. We all play the balance of probabilities, risk-reward, money management etc according to personal strategy/style. The amount of information and well thought out opinion available for those with open minds prepared to filter out the crap is a huge resource. No one person can have all the contacts, make all the phone calls or do all the research.
Today more than ever us mug punters need every edge we can get. I would like to think that more who can post the good stuff on HC for our members benefit do, while sniping and clubbish thuggery is left behind. Vive le Debate!!
