Yeah- that’s what I was thinking too, basically no more acting by actors, but we know the double standard will save the ‘right’ people.

Almost 3 decades in to my Japanese adventure & I can tell you that I’m yet to meet a Japanese person who was upset about Ghost In The Shell, ( Scarlett Johansson ), - anime creators have long ‘appropriated’ Caucasian features for many of their characters & just like with Katy Perry’s kimono wearing film clip they couldn’t be happier to see their culture being shared & admired by we foreigners.
They see it for what it is- the sincerest form of flattery.

Astro boy is actually called ‘Atom’ in Japan- showing the positive attitude of a people yet to be infected by the brain/actual heart eating disease known as social justice.
