Sura 4:24 gives us one of the clues. Basically do what you will with women you possess.

The reporters immediately launch in to a defacto defense of islam by asking the women where they learnt such a thing. They learnt it from the koran-

To allly the same standard to both parties would be to-
A: ask George Pell if child abuse is allowed in the Bible ( which I believe it isn’t & if it is then it should go ), or
B: condemn those women for their position regarding rape.
