Risk versus reward turps. If there's a potential multi-bagger then there's always an associated risk. When you put a lot of skin in a particular company, it's more important than ever to continually re-evaluate. I work on a 3 strike policy with my speculative investments. Saved me a lot more money than I would have ever gained.

Even the best technologies/ideas ever haven't always been successful as there is also an element of management skill and even luck and timing that can dictate success or failure.

I always keep this reality check in mind when I get a bit ahead of myself.
