madmoney, I think if you believe that others "goofed" by selling then best of luck to you. Can't you see the market is stalling? Wall St is living on hope atm. It is ready to fall off a cliff at anytime.

The only reason the DOW didn't tank last night is because the market still think there is a glimmer of hope that Bush or the Fed (TARP) may still come to the rescue of the "big 3". I can tell you that if they are left to fail you will see the market head down BIG TIME imo. I am generally much more optimistic but without a bailout there is little hope for global markets short term.

Next week, results from Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan announced. Why do you think their share prices tanked during this week? Because the results are horrible thats why and Mon & Tues will see sell offs in the financial sector imo. Don't forget the harsh GDP result at the end of month which has to be priced in well before that (ie next week). I am normally a bull but have had to reassess my thoughts of late. If the S&P500 drops below 867 it could go MUCH lower. Good luck & DYOR
