I decided to go to the amusement park for some fun. I had enough to go on a handful of rides and get some lunch. I walked through the entry and the first ride I came to was the Ecograf Vertically Integrated Magical Graphite Mystery Ride. It looked great and promised a “Ride Like No Other” but it would take all the money I had to go on it. I was hooked, I had to go on it. I paid the fee and a stocky balding man that looked a lot like George Costanza ushered me into the carriage of the ride. I looked around at the eager faces of the other ride goers and realised I was seated in the first twenty passengers. “Great” I thought, I’m going to have the best experience up the front. We started off in a tunnel and the track wound around a bit and up and down but not too scary. All of a sudden we came into the light and the carriage started being pulled up a steep grade that looked like it was going up to the moon. We were all excited and enjoying the experience greatly. Without warning the carriage started plummeting at an incredible speed. People were screaming and crying with panic while others seemed to intoxicated by the adrenaline rush and were cheering. We hit what we thought was the bottom and had a short sharp rise only to start falling faster and further than before. There was fear and panic among the passengers with some even jumping off the ride. I was feeling sick so I looked to see if I could get the operator’s attention to stop the ride but to my surprise there was a Green Tree Frog in the operating booth and he was relaxing asleep in a hammock with two dollar notes in his hands so he was no help. I looked ahead to see what looked like a gap in the tracks…… Will the passengers be derailed in an ugly crash? Will the rides management realise and save the day? Will the Frog wake up and realise his dream was actually a nightmare? Is the gap in tracks just an illusion?
