Not so sure about that and suggest you read the case (1:18-cv-01986-KPF) filed 3 May 2018 in New York against Banro Corporation and John Clarke by EMA GARP Fund and Lawrence Lepard. Having read this it would APPEAR that JC misled a number of investors including those funds above about the stability in the region of the Banro mines in DRC and especially withheld information about mine workers and others killed . It would be good for John Clarke to clear the air at the upcoming AGM especially if this case to be heard in New York is still open.
