Dont you get it, Klaus departed because there was no need to renew his Chairmanship for another 12 months.

And he probably said “stuff it I’m outta here” with his shares -hence the sell off.

Renewal of the Airguide relationship for another 12 months thereafter suggests Nigel had a closer relationship with Michael than Klaus did. Their performance rights even match.

Klaus possibly got canned as he was no longer useful, he dumped his shares (still at a profit) as a result, and Nigel and Michael are running the show negotiations-wise.

And there is no point appointing a new Chairman as any JV partner or acquiring Chinese miner *cough* HuaYou or acquiring Chinese battery manufacturer *cough* CATL would want to appoint its own executive as Chairman.

IMO Klaus departed because he could not close the big Chinese TO he was chasing, he had no interest in going mining.
