I find it funny that perceived issues against announcement wording, and infrastructure were raised as 'blockers' to project success, yet no one has picked up on the localised ocean currents currently impacting Ca Ngu.
This is actually a problem and the team need to remedy it. At this stage we dont know the severity but believe it or not subsea movements can cancel a drilling programme and/or original hole location. Its actually a tough one to resolve. The songa mercur is a semi-sub so it has no legs like a JUR (ensco-107) and in some respects mitigates issues like ground movement.
It could be minor, but I'd be keeping an eye on this one.
