Graham I admire your compassion but I do not believe most of the people coming here on boats consider themselves inferior to us at all.



A lot of the time it can be quite the opposite in that they feel superior and their leaders start lecturing us about our law and beliefs. Many would love Sharia law in Australia. Some are Christians. Time to call a spade a spade.

Many of them have an entitlement attitude and believe their beliefs are superior even when the results of them are catastrophic in their country of origin.

Having said that Manus Island looks like a hell hole and would hate to see a loved one of mine there.

Of course there are many genuine cases of people who apply themselves to life here in Australia but many have no intention of doing it. The people smugglers have told them what they can expect and they have been pretty accurate up until yesterday.
