As I see it over 80% of the Federal Liberal members are over 60 and have been there for too long. There are too many people occupying seats that are safe seats who contribute very little to the current debate. If Turnbull really wants to be effective he must demand that the party recruits new members who have the intelligence to add to the policy debate. The current lot of tired pollies will have little appeal to the electorate in the next election. It's time to renew and reinvent the Liberal party and they don't have a lot of time left if they are going to stay relevant.
