Methane gas produced by animals is 21 times more toxic than carbon dioxide when it comes to perceived global warming. We should have a tax on all farm animals bred for food in Australia if that is the case. People would eat less as cost would rise. Why single out electricity. People should stop eating meat to save the planet. At least we really are cutting down emissions and not just sending the problem overseas with our coal. I wonder if they serve meat at The Lodge and Parliament house?
