With nearly 2000 muslim Rohingya and Bangladeshi migrants having been rescued at sea in Southeast Asia in the past two days, and 600 already in Aceh, we can now expect the lot and more to be heading to Australia. These migrants are certainly not welcome in ANY Southeast Asian countries, including muslim Indonesia and Malaysia.
All these migrants will end up in Indonesia before heading to Australia.
Indonesia (and Malaysia) can send these people back where they come from, but will they?
Our government have squandered all goodwill with Indonesia by pandering to a vocal and noisy minority that demanded two convicted drug runners not be executed by Indonesia.
