I would sugest that given, that under the constitution the minerals lying under the ground are the property of the states, any compromise short of cancelling the RSPT would still be an attempted theft of the state mineral resources of WA and QLD and stripping the states of any right to increase royalty % with the passage of time.
To me its a choice of one socialist or the other.
