How do you know the gender of a poster?

One can only guess gender and age.

For General forum as participation is limited to high volume from very few maybe makes it a bit easier.
Going on presentation of threads in forum, ie usually starts off with a half decent point or cut and paste then is completely dumbed down through a quick and witty exchange I would guess male with age varying from 15 through 25.(Though regilion does funny things to be mind could be much older.)

On the ASX forums female participation seems to be quite high with age probably much higher than you would think.
