I can't see NZS getting Ling sounds for nothing someone has to have the Quoter???

We landed 750Kilos Ling trunks Friday getting $4.20 per kilo to Sanfords(they cover us on fish Quoters we don't own) its well known Ling Sounds (maws) are worth $$ per kilo dried .... along with School Shark products which is our main Focus (Major NZ Quoter owner)

(we are currently holding 2ton+ of school/Rig Shark fins in Sanfords freezer storage waiting for the Chinese buyers to be in touch)

NZ Abalone already has a strong market .....

Is NZS plan to just make profit the middle players make before the retailer purchases the product in Asian ... I don't know much about NZS but thats what it looks like...

With Shark Fins we sell direct to Asian buyer that processes in malaysia(as lower labour costs than china etc) ...

I find it hard to believe a NZS operations can for one get the product cheaper than the major fish factories that hold the bulk of the Quoter ..

And have lower labour costs than Asian operations ...so expense to run businesses here in NZ
