US banks lent money to people that could never afford to pay back. Enter Freedie and Fannie and this blew out to levels never imagined.

The resultant crash is still being felt with many US citizens ruined in the process. Now the ALP has cut a deal to allow the US carpenters to come here and compete for Australian construction jobs.

The Australian housing sector is slowing so how in dickens can the government sell out our tradesmen this way? They are losing jobs and the US is allowed to export their tradesman here because their housing market is stuffed.

Apprenticeships have apparently fallen here in recent years and now this career opportunity for our youth just got another blow - thanks Julia - go away please.

    Disgusted yet again,
    CW
