Ahhhh, so you think perhaps Abbott will renege on his Rolls Royce paid parental leave system that wants to tax a section of business so that those on higher incomes will receive more than workers that are far worse off including workers in businesses not subject to the tax. The businesses that will be taxed will be subsidising those that dont pay it in respect to paid parental leave. All this from the man that said paid parental leave would be introduced over his governments dead body.
Perhaps you believe then that Abbott will slip the boot into the unemployed and the disabled and into dare I say it, pensioners? Will he claw back the historic pension increases introduced by the Labor government?
Maybe you think Abbott will also get rid of all the baby bonuses as well as the school kids bonus? Maybe he will claw back all family payments and concessions?
Well, if thats what jovial Joe and tony abbott have in store for these people, we had best alert them before the election.
Hmmm, given that Tony Abbott has a mantra of there will be no carbon or mining tax under a government he leads I guess we can readily assume that he will have to hit the disadvantaged to make up the revenue loss.
Oh dear what a dogs breakfast if the right wing tea party types of the coalition have their way. Middle class Australia could be financially smashed if this were to occur as nearly all families working or otherwise receive some forms of government benefits.
