It's a shame to hear and see all those stories about Greece the last 2 years . A small country with 10 millions , mostly rocky , and wiped off countless times by wars ,has become our punching bag , and the one to blame for ours perfect world economical decline .
How much Greece needs to get out of this mess ?? 30-50-100 billions ?? What the hell is 30 billions for the rest off the world ??
Blame the Greeks for not doing the right think is ease . I did accuse them of lying back too much as well. But still there is a question who contributed for this decline in theirs economy ? .Who was throwing truck loads of low interest loans ? , and who did pull the plug once the country was under water . Who was absorbing and investing all the Japanese retires money , and where those money was invested ?
That NANO-LAND we grow to call Greece , is our cradle of our civilization , we like it or not .
Democracy -mathematics- Medicine-Sports-Philosophy-Arts-Music, and you name it , are born there .
Some historians ( non Greeks ) will tell you that , if Greece was not holding the Nazis for 6 weeks in the WW2 , then operation Barbarosa (attack on Russia) was going to be successful. Those 6 weeks was enough to put the Nazis , in the freezing winter conditions , and probably the freedom we do enjoying today is because of that . Did anyone pay for all the destruction that war cause to this country .??
Churchill was the one saying ...From now on we should not say Greeks fight like heroes ...But heroes fight like Greeks .
He promised Cyprus to become part of Greece after the war . To day Cyprus is given half to Turks , the ones who Dint even lost a donkey in the WW2 .
