This is Mr Lincoln Augustus, first second cousin of Holymagiman.
Sun's just getting high on this lovely Jamaican morning, and there is much we look forward to hearing in Reverend Goldstein's sermon this morning.
The sermon we will not miss.
But it is with sadness that we hear that the Eastern Star AGM will be in Austria, which is many miles away from Kingston. So we will be sadly missing that meeting.
And we will miss meeting all the fine folk who write so informatively in these sites, and putting a face to the fine words. A pity, a real pity.
But we have say here whiling away the time, with a few Red Stripes and some fine Jamica Numba One Extra Spejil to fortify us for the sermon.
And to help pass away the time, we have tried putting faces to the words and so we post our thoughts on how we think the respectable writers will look.
Mr Yaqona: Baboo pointed out that anybody with a Q not followed by a U must be most literate, so we feel that Mr Yaqona will be tall and very intellectual, possibly an accountant as he is so good with figures. Possibly about in his 50s, with elegant thinning gray hair.
Mr Kingcaramelo: Alvin is most impressed with the Rothschilds and we think this gentleman will be someone in the mid-twenties in the Armani suit with the dark glasses and the slicked back hair.
Mr Hardmano: This gentleman must be a lawyer in the mould of Rumpole, with an inquisitorial style that is both incisive and passionate. Perhaps slightly portly, as the mark of a successful lawyer??
Mr Seamfiend: This one was a bit of a puzzle and we didn't know where to put him, so we have left him out.
Mr Poyndexter: An ernest gentleman who is deep in research...we would picture here a University don, tall, ernest and most well readwith a tendency to laugh out loud oft times.
Some guy: A blond lady (according to Uncle Tobias) who sounds like fun
Mr Buddy134: a contracyclical astute investment banker from the Bahamas, perhaps, a devil's advocate to some, and possibly good for a free meal, according to Milly Maneka
Mr Raynkaye: A Nigerian gentleman ...enough said
It is a pity that the family will miss meeting such esteemed company, and we are sure the reality will be far more magnificent than our suppositions.
And now, we have to leave, for the Church and Rev Goldstein beckon. Please give each other a big hello from the family.
Blessings of the Lord
