I think you need to broaden your brush there just a bit. I see plenty of spoiled, ill-behaved kids from 'un-broken' homes whose parents let them get away with murder.
Anti-social behaviour is not the exclusive domain of children from broken or single-parent families. Lots of parents let kids off easily because it's an easier thing to do in the short-term, with no thought about the long-term consequences.
