Max - my understanding is that contract is probably with the US subsidiary, not China as Chinese companies want profits outside of China and Western companies do not want to deal with Chinese courts. Trials are subcontracted back to China but ownership is elsewhere.
Can still get caught selling product back into China, but that is years off.
