Anyone favour getting rid of the voting system we have and instead of voting for politicians, we vote for policies. We could then get rid of poiticians. We would just need the departments to implement the policies voted in. I'm talking about a secure online system much like online banking or crypto which can't easily be hacked. Each eligible registered voter could login and be allowed to vote just once on a certain number of policies(say 10 of their choice), the 10 policies that they care most about. There would need to be some sort of control obviously on the creation of unique policies as well as good search functionality to enable you to look up a policy using a keyword.(I know it's probably been brought up b4 but here it is again so)
