I have been looking at it in a different way(right or wrong).
I believe Nuevo Esperanza looks like a very good project but then i am just comparing with other projects i have seen over the years with my very limited knowledge.
The grades seemed very good to me especially with the Gold that they were finding just before they had to shut down everything because of the problems at Chatree.
They might of had to sell it at fire sale if they didn't get the insurance payout. Fortunately management were smart enough to get the policy and they didn't have to sell at fire sale prices.
Keeping it in the company wouldn't mean it is worth nothing in my opinion. It could just mean that they are waiting for the outcome of the arbitration/ settlement and then they can make a decision from a position of strength.
All in my opinion but it seems logical to me.
