    Re your comment;
    "vertigo is right, they will loose either way. Why they wont support 'fascist kev'? because they hate him. He's a total arrogant egotistical toss!"

    Kevin Rudd remains the most popular political leader we have seen. Despite all of what has been thrown at him the people of Australia have never rejected him. This is apparent in recent polls that also still show Tony Abbott with a 53% dissatisfaction rate - a lazy & secretive imposter we have never embraced.

    Recent history suggests that Labor's factional war lords hate the power Rudd drew from his common touch with us. Rudd has never been their puppet & still refuses to dance to their tune!

    Time will tell as to whether Labor's pollies stay loyal to Julia Gillard & factional politics or opt to reflect the will of the people by giving Rudd another go.

    It seems highly likely that if Gillard wins the ballot her lack of embrace by the Australian mainstream will see her Govt. reduced to cinders at the next election.

    If the Labor Party again rejects Rudd he will also be consigned to history as an abject political failure whose only real achievement was to remove the visionless, lazy & pork-barrelling Howard Govt.
