maybe the banks want the sp as low as possible if they are going to accept an equity deal in return for debt relief as has been reported in a few papers?

i cant understand why anyone would buy this stock now. not only is there a very real chance it could go belly up but even in the event that there is a good outcome there will be an opportunity to get onboard when things become clearer and much of the risk has abated.

of course there is still the possibility that a takeover will emerge at any time.
