Gold bugs do not seem to understand that we are in a deflationary environment, and QE is our attempt to try to fight this deflation.
It is not working because the amount of money being put into the system is nowhere near enough to replace the amount of money leaving the system via credit deleveraging.
This battle against deflation has been lost. Japan is a case in point.
Gold bugs are getting rope a doped by the powers that be.
