Power generation is largely the responsibility of both private companies, and the various state governments which have been busy for years pushing taxpayer subsidised renewables.
One month after the labor party was elected federally, their new polices threw the Australian electricity market into chaos, and it was shut down. There were even power companies telling individuals they couldn't take any new customers it was such a shambles. So yes it was all labors fault.
And you very well know the reason why we need nuclear power, if dumb and dumber get their way, Albo and Bowen, there will be insufficient power generation from intermittent unreliable wind and solar built on a mass scale, while remaining coal plants will be shut down.
Nuclear will be needed for baseload power generation, or re-opened/new coal plants, take your pick.
