Yes this is it, rapid testing is (they say) as good as the gold standard (the gold standard is relatively poor though) and either group in the early stages hold more or less the same total count of covid therefore needing the same level of amplification to create an in probability positive result.
Rapid testing, although no less perfect than PCR does satisfy all requirements including basic human rights requirements..labor green types will be crying over their cornflakes for years at this last bit...no gulag or gas chamber for them now!
