I am having some trouble with the STX interpretation that, because they found gas below the JV interpretation of the GWC in WE5 then the water in WE4 must be from an elevated water lens rather than - the bottom of the WE4 perforations was below the GWC

If we look at the gas pressures in WE2, WE4 and WE5 viz:

WE2 6814-6828 PSI 11/09/19 announcement (6814 at top of, and 6828 at bottom of gas column)
    WE4 6821 PSI 08/04/21 announcement
    WE5 7000 PSI 01/07/21 announcement

we find that the gas pressures in WE2 and WE4 are very good agreement. However, the pressure in WE5 is some 180 PSI greater.
Given that the gas has been down there for many millions of years, if there was any kind of a flow path between WE5 and its nearest neighbour WE2, one must expect that the gas pressures should be the same. So what is the explanation? The simplest one is that gas pressures can not be measured accurately. Possible, but given that they announced the WE4 gas pressure to within one PSI and the WE2 pressure to within 14 PSI this must be considered unlikely. Second, their pressure gauge malfunctioned in WE5. I have no idea whether this is possible. Third, WE5 is separated from WE2 and WE4 above the GWC. Fourth, and this the interesting one, WE5 is not connected above the GWC but is connected below the GWC.
If this is the case the additional pressure in WE5 would push the GWC higher in WE4. As water has a pressure gradient of approx 1.5 PSI per meter this would imply that the GWC in WE4 is about 120m higher in WE4 than in WE5.

Disclaimer. Although, I believe that my knowledge is reasonable I confess that I know very little of what goes on down a gas well. If anyone can shoot me down - do so it will improve my understanding
