Hi davidcasey.....
There are several graphs available that show the life cycle of a mining share....
(apologies in advance if you know all this)

I hear what you're saying re GUF,but GUF is still in the discovery/speculation stage and the news hasn't been sold into yet.
IMO....CAP is in the "Resources established",discovery/development transition stage re Hawsons at the present time which means that speculators may be leaving and hence the drop in sp.
NS has mentioned that they'd be adding to the confidence of the resource (M&I) rather than to the size.
I would expect a positive Hughenden jorc to add a few cents and BMG's $25 million could add another 25c,but I don't think that's gonna happen this month.
IMO...expect further pullback before heading north again.
Cheers
PS...As I recall,dc,you were buying in the 40s so I guess you're still doing ok! After your SLX experience,I daresay you'd be a fan of "free carrying" (Sell 100k to free carry and ride the rest to $13....hope you learnt from that experience)
DISC....My CAP posts are based on my free carried position (65% of my original shareholding) and trading the other 35%
Cheers!
