For someone of his advanced age I think the sentence was quite harsh although I am not aware of his non-parole period which may be much less than six years in which case it may not be harsh at all as he will most likely be out on parole at the earliest date. He may also win his appeal and be out this year. Either way the bigger punishment is his loss of standing in the community. Dave R.
