Amory, if I turn out to be wrong I will roll the calls out one month which will add to the premium so if the trend is up long term [which we know]there will always be a correction at some stage. I believe it is easier to get out of a call than a put although the same strategy applies, being exercised varies the situation however can be offset by writing the same position.it may be difficult to grasp but this is to me much safer way of trading. There are some good books on writing available
