there may be some anxiety creeping into the BHP price. the DowJones has not been exactly outperforming for the last few sessions. on the other hand it is still trading within the 10600/10700 range.
monday will be very interesting. (a) will the latest 45-point dip in the Dow cause some cracks to show up in our blue chips and (b) will the Dow then drop below 10600 overnite?
amory is mildly speculating in that direction. note: mildly. bought a few BHP april $12 puts, just to test the temperature of the water. any genuine signs of weakness & amory will follow up with more of the same.
I prefer to trade options in RIO, but that one has not been showing the same kind of wild fluctuation lately.
