    It certainly looks interesting at these levels. According to BHP shale gas breaks even @ $US4 per mcf versus $US8 per mcf of LNG (this info is from an article in today's fin review).

    IMHO if this is their beleif it's easy to see why they went after shale assets in the Northern American market. The $4UD per mcf for shale would likely be the estimated cost in the US market. The US has the best infrastructure in the world in bringing shale and LNG to the market. Shale is def viable in US market, no reason it can't be here too.

    So it's def interesting. Though i'm not a huge fan of broker consensus, these price targets may be on interest:

    - Goldman Sachs = $2.20
    - Morningstar = $3.10
    - Paterson's = $2.46
