I regard rising wedges as topping patterns when they come late in a move.
The three higher tops are what McLaren calls a 3 thrust pattern which he regards as a termination sign.
I don't believe any pattern guarantees the normal outcome.
Others may have different views on that wedge.
I understand what you mean about the bottom rising faster and you may have a point. Certainly flat topped triangles are usually expected to break upwards.
