do not a company make
this is not to say that the number is without value
it sits there ostentatiously at the alter
whilst the congregation shyly mimes
or robustly sings its heart out
nothing else has changed in that instant
save the flickering of a candle
and a nervous cough
the shuffle of the prayerbooks
nothing else has changed
wear your mkt cap on yr sleeve
