Interesting that this is an Abbvie patent and not a Unilife patent. I couldn't find any US patent filing for a Unilife wearable injector. Wonder why that is. Furthermore, since we know of no FDA filings for the three companies involved with Unilife on the WI's, Sanofi, Amgen and MedImmune, it is possible that the design of the Unilife WI is not yet finalized so no patent has been filed. The filing by Abbvie raises very interesting questions about patent rights. Think about that.
