    you are right about farmers able to produce - everyone here (including nff) used to give the usa and europe a hard time about their set aside programs - they have largely got rid of them ( especially the usa ) and look how much grain they can grow. we also have the biotech revolution as well

    hopefully the plantings worldwide will reduce due to low prices, but you know what we farmers are like - you still normally grow something! hopefully sugar beet in europe will take some acres and maybe fodder crops in some areas (like Aus )

    frosts i spoke of look to be on lighter side as not many below 0 but a few below 1 and two degrees which will still damage flowering wheat
