South Australians are preparing for flash flooding in the northeast of the state.
The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe weather warning for people in the northeast pastoral, Riverland and Flinders districts for Thursday.
Heavy rain and possible thunderstorms could affect Renmark, Leigh Creek, Moomba, Marree, Arkaroola and Olary. Advertisement: Story continues below
With the River Murray sodden, the State Emergency Service has advised people to secure outdoor furniture, park their vehicles away from trees and to keep clear of waterways.
It has warned motorists to drive carefully on wet and slippery roads and not to attempt to drive in floodwaters.
