    Here's the irony... Most of the power demand in summer is in the evening when every home has the AC on and often that's when the wind isn't blowing. The Tesla Battery won't provide any more than 80% of capacity for any longer than 18 minutes for 30,000 homes, because of inefficiencies in hot weather.
    Hazelwood is gone...summers around the corner, and the SA Gumnut is still to put in contingency plans!?
    But here's the funny part, SA is selling the land titles department for close $1.5 billion which should pay the bills for two years, then there's no more assets of value to sell to pay the interest repayments of their state debt...or diesel (or gas by 2019) to power the 8 generators (gotta allow one generator to be inoperable, think Collins class subs)...
