It wouldn't indicate lying. LNP Theory is supposed to indicate whether someone is activating creative side of brain in which case the eyes move in one direction, or recalling from memory, eyes looking up in the other direction. Many of the questions were not factual history but required creative answers looking into the future. That said I think you might have got the left and right switched around the wrong way relevant to the original LNP theory.
